I woke up to the sound of water splashing through car tires in the parking lot outside my window. Not a great way to start my Transit of Venus morning!
The AccuWeather hourly forecast calls for 65% cloud cover at 6pm in Bowling Green, OH. I'm sure I'll end up checking the weather non-stop at work today. At least the rain is over, now we just have to wait for all these clouds to clear out.

By 10:00am things haven't improved much. I saw a couple patches of blue sky, but mostly blankets of gray.

Worried about the weather for today's Transit of Venus? You're in good
company: French explorer
Guillaume Le Gentil missed the transit twice,
spent 11 years away from home, and returned to find he had been
pronounced legally dead and his estate looted.
